Jesus called us to reach out to people from every nation — and we take this charge seriously. At Alliance we are involved in or have founded several large scale projects that have a global impact. Throughout the year, we also have short term mission trips where teams travel abroad to make a specific impact in other countries.
ENVISION – Missions Outreach Opportunities with the C&MA
Envision is a movement within the C&MA that specializes in missional engagement, equipping followers of Jesus to live well in a post-everything world. The two main branches of Envision are Sites and Labs.
Our 20 Sites provide opportunities to participate in what God is doing around the world-whether it’s through connecting with local churches, serving in urban settings, or bringing social justice to dark places. Participants experience discipleship working with and serving under long-term workers who are pioneering, building, and leading impactful ministries in their cities.
Our Labs are specific experiences tailored to shape leadership and faith. Envision’s 3 Labs are Films, Campaigns, and Summit. Films explores the intersection of faith and culture. Campaigns offers tangible ways to make a difference in social justice issues. Summit is a yearly gathering that provides young influencers with a week-long leadership experience in an international setting.

INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP – Kharkov Ukraine – English as a Second Language Outreach Opportunity –
SPECIAL ESL Effort – Kharkov Team ESL camp in Carpathian Mountains in the summer – date to be determined. The camp would be for adults with experience speaking English and would be more intense than ESL school in a city where people just come only in the evening. In the camp there will be a program for a full day each day. English will only be a part of that program. A team of 5-6 adults from USA would be helpful in this kind of project. The length of the project would be the same – 7 days. It’s not a tent camp, it would be cabins in the mountains. If you are interested in this great opportunity to serve and want more information, please email ABFMissions@ABFBoone.org
ONGOING ESL Effort – The Kharkov Team, Luda and Sergei, would like an English Second Langue team of 3 to 5 people to work with them during March/April or Sept/Oct of 2018. The target audience for the ESL outreach project is professionals people in their 20s-50s who are interested in improving their English skills. Participants of the ESL team do not have to be teachers only those interested in helping to “grow the Kingdom”. The focus is on conversational English and sharing Christian lifestyle experiences and conversation. If you are interested in this great opportunity to serve and want more information, please email ABFMissions@ABFBoone.org
